Biography
Dubart was born in 1841. He was the son of Ebenezer Bourland and Polly Hester. He passed away in 1864.
Dubart Henderson Bourland (D. H.) was a Private in Capt. Wiggins' Battery, Arkansas Light Artillery, and listed as a musician. He joined the Confederate Army on July 15, 1861, with his brother (Corp.) Gabriel Lee Bourland, in Little Rock, Arkansas, for one year. They were both captured in Shelbyville, TN, on June 27, 1863. They were transferred to Louisville, KY, and Camp Chase, though on different dates in July 1863. On August 24, 1863 Dubart was transferred to Camp Douglas, IL, where he died of small pox on Novem
