Often times, artists are not recognized until long after they reached the pinnacle of their success, or even worse, until after they have died. For some reason we find it difficult to give credit to our contemporaries. This is just an unfortunate part of human dynamics. I included Chino because I truly believe that he ranks as one of the great timbaleros; although he, relatively speaking, is only just beginning his career.
