    Douglas affectionately known to many as "Doug"; worked at Ashland Chemical in Columbus - OH for many years and truly enjoyed the people he worked with.

    He was personable and never met a stranger. All who met him loved him.

    Doug spent most of his down-time gardening, cooking and eating lots of food! His artistry did not end at creating recipes but also extended to making handcrafted candles.

    He belonged to the Moose Lodge and really enjoyed playing bocce ball. Doug was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals fan.

    His joy for life and spirit was resounding. Even throughout his illness he was cheerful and of a light heart. Doug was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.

    Doug served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps.

    He was loved by all and will be deeply missed.

      Ronald E. Colley CHESNEE, SC: Ronald Eugene “Ron” Colley, 67, loving husband of Patricia “Pat” Colley of 1647 Ezell Road died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at his home. Born September 13, 1949 in Portsmouth, Ohio he was a son of the late Dale Coleman Colley and Wilma Eileen Kidder Colley. Mr. Colley was a former truck driver, enjoyed auto mechanics, carpentry, drag racing and loved playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of Una First Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons, Michael Eugene Colley of Inman, Darryl L. Miller and wife Christy of Chesnee, Douglas Allen Colley and wife Donna of Chesnee; brother, Joey Taylor and wife Dorothy of Ohio; daughter-in-law, Jamie Colley of Chesnee; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son Ronnie Dale Colley and a brother James Dale Colley. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2016 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Revs. Phil Raines and Ricky Pridmore officiating.
