    Abstract

    Objective:

To evaluate the responsiveness of quality of life (QoL) metrics to ocular and systemic events in patients with non-infectious uveitis.

    Design:

Cohort study using randomized controlled trial data.

    Participants:

Patients with active or recently active intermediate, posterior, or panuveitis enrolled in the Multicenter Steroid Treatment (MUST) Trial and Follow-up Study.

    Methods:

Data on the National Eye Institute Visual Functioning Questionnaire (NEI-VFQ), EuroQol Questionnaire (EQ-5D), and the Short Form Survey Instrument (SF) were evaluated semi-annually during the first 3 years after randomization. The impact of ocular (e.g. changes in visual acuity, activity status, cataract surgery) and systemic events (e.g infections requiring treatment) on the 6-month changes in QoL was assessed for each metric using generalized estimating equations.

    Main Outcome Measures:

The primary outcomes were the 6-month changes in vision-related (NEI-VFQ) and general health-related (EQ-5D index, SF physical component score) QoL.

    Results:

Changes in visual acuity (adjusted change [aΔ]: units per 5 letter change, p<), implant placement in at least on

Unveiling the Sacred: Exploring the Harshatmata Temple of Abhaneri

Abaneri, or Abhaneri, is a popular tourist spot in Rajasthan, located off the Delhi-Jaipur highway. It boasts one of India's deepest stepwells, the Chand Baori. The site is also home to the 9th-century Harshatmata Temple. During his 19th century survey of Rajasthan, James Tod came across the ruins of an ancient structure of importance in a small village called Abhanair, three miles from Lalsot. The bards, who sang tales of Raja Chand and Permala's romance, had already made the place known. The Harshatmata Temple then came to the attention of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), and the site later made its way into the Jaipur Circle's selection of important monuments in CE. The temple's restoration began in the s, under the direction of Satya Prakash.

Abhaneri is renowned for its exquisite sculptures, said to draw inspiration from the Gupta era of art. Some selected sculptures received scholarly attention from R.C. Agrawala, Pupul Jayakar, and Neelima Vashishtha [1]. Rajendra Yadav [2] and Cynthia Packert Atherton [3] have made significant contributions to the art and architecture of the site, which form an important part of the site's historiography. Only a few sculptures rema
