    Susie Bell Ward, 67, of Hinton passed away Tuesday June 30, 2020 at Bowers Hospice House following a long illness.  Born August 16, 1952 at Camp Branch she was the daughter of the late Richard Plumley and Virginia “Sister” Bennett Plumley Richmond.

    A former LPN and RN having served Summers County with the Summers Co. Health Dept., Summers Co. ARH and Summers Nursing and Rehab.  Susie was of the Baptist Faith and she enjoyed cross stitching, reading, flower gardening and spending time with family and friends.

    Preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Ward; one sister, Ruby Gill; one brother, Richard “Cowboy” Plumley and one nephew, Billy Dunn.

    Those left to cherish her memory include two children, Kevin Ward and wife Carolyn of Chicago, IL and Steven Ward and wife Natalia of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren, Demitri, Leah, Tyler and Isabelle; three stepchildren, Bobbi June, Kenneth Raymond and Philip Douglas; stepfather, Paul Richmond and wife Kathleen and one sister, Melissa Buckland and husband Jeff.

    Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Monday July 6, 2020 at the Ronald Meadows Funeral Chapel with Pastor Harry Allen officiating.  Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call from 11 am u
